Splendor iSmart
Hero Splendor iSmart is the first motorcycle to feature the iSmart technology. It is fitted with a 97.2cc four stroke engine that powers Splendor bikes since inception but as it houses iSmart technology it returns 102.5kmpl. It is available in two variants – alloy wheel variant and spoke wheel variant, both of which have been priced very competitively in their respective segment. This bike is available in four color options namely: Sports Red, Leaf Green, Excellent Blue and Heavy Grey. Passion Pro
After announcing that Hero MotoCorp has achieved 100 million production units in January, the brand launched the Passion Pro in the 100 Million Edition livery in March. The special edition model costs Rs 1,800 more than the standard disc and drum variants when it was launched. Hero has plonked the same 113.2cc single-cylinder engine that you find on the Hero Splendor iSmart BS6 into the new Passion Pro BS6. Compared to the BS4 model, the max power of 9.15PS is 0.37PS lower but torque has been bumped up from 9Nm to 9.79Nm. Hero also claims that this engine is 5 per cent more fuel efficient than before.
HF Deluxe
The Hero HF Deluxe has always been a conservatively-styled motorcycle and the BS6 Hero HF Deluxe is no different, save for the new colour schemes and graphics. It does look slightly better than the long-in-the-tooth Hero Splendor. The bikini fairing is complemented by a conventionally designed fuel tank with a handy toolbox located below. The long single-piece seat is amply cushioned and the motorcycle gets a single-piece grab rail for the pillion. The Hero HF Deluxe BS6 top-end variant features an idle Stop Start System, which shuts off the motor when it is idling for a while in traffic.
HF 100
The Hero HF 100 shares its design with HF Deluxe with a little cost-cutting in the manufacturing process. The pillion grab rail has a black finish to it and it is slimmer than the one in the HF Deluxe. The commuter bike is currently available in a single colour, black with red. The bike also features the company’s X-sans system of sensors which aims at ensuring optimum performance as well as the i3s (idle-start-stop) system to save fuel and cut down running costs. The Hero HF 100 focuses more on functionality than form. The engine is 97.2 cc, an air-cooled, single-cylinder unit that is also equipped with fuel-injection technology.
Glamour
While the Glamour BS6 retains the familiar bodywork, it gets six new colour options: Black with Blue, Black with Grey, Black with Red, Black with Sports Red, Black with Techno Blue, and Candy Blazing Red. The headlamp gets blacked-out elements while the mirror covers now come in black, instead of the previous two-tone finish. In addition, the Xtec comes in two of its own colours — Glossy Black and Matte Axis Grey — to help it stand out. The Glamour BS6 continues to use a halogen headlamp, LED tail lamp, and bulb turn indicators. The Hero Glamour BS6 gets a new 125cc fuel-injected motor.
Pleasure Plus
Hero Pleasure+ XTec, with a new LED headlamp, as well as new features, including Bluetooth connectivity. The Hero Pleasure+ XTec has been priced at ₹ 69,500 (Ex-showroom, Delhi), while the standard Hero Pleasure+ LX variant is now priced from ₹ 61,900 (Ex-showroom, Delhi). The Pleasure+ XTec adds a new LED projector headlamp, which offers better light intensity, chrome inserts on the bodywork, a new pillion backrest, and has been introduced in a new colour option, Jubilant Yellow, giving it fresh appeal. The Pleasure+ XTec also gets idle start-stop system (Hero’s i3S technology), a digital analog speedometer console with Bluetooth connectivity.
Maestro Edge 125
The standard Maestro Edge’s design hasn’t changed as much since the inception of the scooter. It continues to look sharp and edgy with a chunky tail. Among the 125cc family scooters, the Maestro Edge 125 is one of the most stylish offerings, especially in the Panther Black and Stealth Black colours. Other colour options are Pearl Fadeless White, Matte Red, Matte Vernier Grey, Matte Techno Blue, Matte Brown, and Prismatic Purple. The 2021 variants feature a redesigned front apron with masked turn indicators and sporty graphics on the bodywork. The standard Maestro Edge 125 isn’t kitted with a whole lot of modern features.
Maestro Edge 110
The Maestro Edge 110 BS6 features an LED tail lamp, semi-digital instrument console, all-in-one lock, boot light, underseat USB charger, and an external fuel filler. The semi-digital instrument console gets an analogue speedometer and digital readouts for fuel level, ignition, service and side-stand warning, a tripmeter, and odometer. While the Maestro Edge comes with the same bodywork and features as before, the top-end variant gets distinctive graphics and paint jobs. The 100 Million Edition, which comes in a dual-tone paint, rolls on diamond-cut wheels and also gets a premium looking seat cover.
Destini 125
The Hero Destini 125 sports a more sober design than the other newly launched 125cc scooters in the country. It is available in two variants: base-spec LX and top-spec VX. The latter features a large chrome chest on the apron, dual-tone seat cover, generous use of chrome on the side body panels, and alloy wheels. The LX, on the other hand, misses out on these features and instead comes with a single-tone seat cover, silver garnishing on the apron, and steel wheels. The scooter is available in four colour options: red, bronze, white, and black. There’s an analogue-digital combo unit, with the LCD displaying the fuel gauge, tripmeter, odometer readings, and service indicator.
